All preparations complete for JAKSU election, scheduled for 30 December

Jagannath University Central Student Union (JAKSU) elections will be held on 30 December as scheduled. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rezaul Karim confirmed there are no obstacles.

Following meetings with government advisers and security officials, the administration emphasized law enforcement and overall security. Ballot counting will use machines to ensure transparent and fast results.

A total of 157 candidates are contesting 21 positions, including 12 for VP, 9 for GS, and 8 for AGS. Campaigning began on 15 December and continues until 27 December.
