Private equity firm Everstone Capital is set to merge Indian digital experience software company Wingify with French company AB Tasty to form a new digital experience optimization company with annual revenue exceeding $100 million. This announcement comes one year after Everstone acquired a controlling stake in Wingify for $200 million in January last year.

According to Everstone and the leadership of both companies, the combined entity will serve over 4,000 customers worldwide, with ninety percent of its annual revenue expected to come from the United States and Europe. The new company will be headquartered in New Delhi, and it will operate eleven offices with approximately 800 employees, of which 350 will be based outside India.

Wingify’s co-founder, Sparsh Gupta, will serve as the CEO of the merged company, and Everstone will remain the largest institutional shareholder of the company. Gupta stated that the merger is primarily aimed at bringing both businesses under one platform by restructuring AB Tasty’s equity framework.

In the combined company, Wingify co-founder Ankit Jain will serve as Chief Product and Technology Officer, AB Tasty co-founder Remy Aubert will take on the role of Chief Customer and Strategy Officer, and Alix de Sagazan will be Chief Revenue Officer. Gupta added that both companies are already profitable, and the merger aims not only to reduce costs but also to expand the platform and improve quality. “No employees will be laid off as a result of this merger,” he said.

Wingify was founded in 2010 by Paras Chopra and Sparsh Gupta. Its main product, VWO, helps businesses improve online conversion rates and customer experience. AB Tasty was established in 2014 and serves over 1,000 brands worldwide.

The new company will compete with Optimizely and Adobe in the same sector. Everstone stated that the merged entity will have the most comprehensive offerings in AI-driven customization, testing, and feature delivery.

Sunderip Singh, Managing Director of Everstone, said, “VWO and AB Tasty coming together will give us the broadest and most effective platform in our sector.”

This merger strengthens Everstone’s position in the global marketing and product software acquisition wave, providing AI-enabled, scalable platforms to serve customers.
