The albino breed buffalo named ‘Donald Trump’, which had become the center of discussion on social media, has been given a unique farewell by Rabeya Agro Farm. The buffalo was sent off with a royal-style arrangement including a red carpet, colored smoke, and decorative setup, drawing a large crowd of spectators.
The event took place on Monday afternoon at the farm located in Paikpara area of Narayanganj city. According to farm sources, a resident of Jinjira area in Dhaka named Md. Samir had already purchased the buffalo. On the scheduled day of delivery, the farm authorities arranged a special farewell ceremony.
Farm workers began bathing and decorating the nearly 700-kilogram buffalo from the afternoon. Later, it was adorned with special ornaments and royal clothing and walked over a red carpet before being loaded onto a vehicle. Throughout the event, visitors recorded videos and photos on their mobile phones.
Farm owner Ziauddin Mridha said, “Donald Trump will remain a special memory for our farm. Because of it, our farm has gained recognition not only in the country but also abroad.”
The farm authorities said the buffalo was humorously named ‘Donald Trump’ because its hair style resembled that of former US President Donald Trump. After videos and photos went viral on social media, the animal gained massive popularity.
According to farm sources, the buffalo was sold at a live weight rate of 550 taka per kilogram. After going viral, hundreds of people visited the farm daily. Visitors came from Dhaka, Narayanganj, and various districts across the country.
