Tanzin Tisha Makes Big-Screen Debut with Shakib Khan in ‘Soldier’

A couple of months ago, rumors circulated that Bangladeshi actress Tanzin Tisha would soon make her debut in a Tollywood film titled Bhalobashar Morshum, opposite popular Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi. However, those speculations have ended, as Tisha has decided to prioritize a Bangladeshi film. She will make her big-screen debut as the heroine of ‘Soldier’, starring opposite Shakib Khan.

Initially, the shooting schedules of the two films overlapped, putting Tisha in a tough position. Ultimately, she chose to prioritize the Bangladeshi project and dropped Bhalobashar Morshum. Tisha said, “Both films’ shooting schedules coincided. I wanted my big-screen debut to happen through a Bangladeshi film and did not want to miss the opportunity to work with a star like Shakib Khan.”

Earlier, there were talks of Tisha acting opposite Shakib Khan in Premik, but shooting never commenced. Now, the long-awaited on-screen pairing will happen through Soldier.

Due to visa issues, Tisha could not participate in the Indian project, so she gave priority to her home country. She added, “I am a Bangladeshi girl. Bangladesh comes first for me, so ‘Soldier’ was my first choice.”

Shooting for Soldier has already begun. On October 11, Tisha will appear in front of the camera alongside Shakib Khan for the first time. Directed by Sakib Fahad, the film, centered on a patriotic story, is planned for release either at the end of this year or between the two Eid festivals next year.

Director Sakib Fahad said, “At the end of the day, no matter how many crises of hope our story faces, we remain optimistic. That message will be conveyed in the film.”
