South Indian film star Rashmika Mandanna has clarified recent rumors about whether she has withdrawn from or been banned in the Kannada film industry, stating clearly, “So far, no one has banned me.”
Rashmika made her Kannada film debut in 2016 with Kirik Party, directed by Rishabh Shetty, and has since been active in both South Indian and Bollywood films. However, during the release of Kantara: Chapter 1, she did not participate directly in the film’s promotion. She later stated that she did not watch the film during the first two to three days of release but sent a message of thanks to the team after seeing it.
According to Rashmika, it is not possible to live life based on the opinions of the general public. Often, criticism arises from misunderstandings or incomplete information. Despite the rumors, she has maintained focus on her professional stance and work ethic.
Meanwhile, Rashmika will appear in her upcoming film Thama, opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. On a personal note, she is engaged to Vijay Deverakonda, with their wedding scheduled for February. However, both have not publicly commented on their relationship.
Through this clear statement, Rashmika emphasizes her desire to keep her professional and personal life separate, despite ongoing rumors and discussions.
