A new committee has been elected in the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) in the 2025 elections. According to the published results, Md. Abu Sadiq was elected Vice President with 14,042 votes, S M Farhad as General Secretary with 10,794 votes, and Muha. Mohiuddin Khan as Assistant General Secretary with 11,772 votes.
Other elected office bearers from various departments include:
Secretary for Liberation War and Democratic Movements: Fatema Tanzim Juma (10,631 votes)
Science and Technology Secretary: Md. Iqbal Haider (7,833 votes)
Common Room, Reading Room, and Cafeteria Secretary: Umme Salma (9,920 votes)
International Secretary: Jasimuddin Khan (9,706 votes)
Literature and Cultural Secretary: Musaddiq Ali Ibne Mohammad (7,782 votes)
Research and Publications Secretary: Sanjida Ahmed Tanvi (11,778 votes)
Sports Secretary: Arman Hossain (7,255 votes)
Student Transport Secretary: Md. Asif Abdullah (9,061 votes)
Social Services Secretary: Md. Zubair bin Neshari (7,608 votes)
Career Development Secretary: Md. Majharul Islam (9,344 votes)
Health and Environment Secretary: M M Al Minhaj (7,038 votes)
Human Rights and Legal Affairs Secretary: Md. Zakaria (11,747 votes)
Elected members include: Sabikun Nahar Tamanna (10,044), Sarb Mitro Chakma (8,988), Imran Hosein (6,252), Mosha: Afsana Akter (5,747), Tanzinur Rahman (5,690), Raihan Uddin (5,082), Anas Ibne Munir (5,015), Md. Miftahul (5,015), Hema Chakma (4,908), Md. Belal Hossain Apu (4,865), Md. Raisul Islam (4,535), Md. Shahinur Rahman (4,390), and Umme Us Watul Rafia (4,209).
The newly elected committee will manage DUCSU activities for the next one year and implement various plans in the interest of the university students.
