NBR allows online tax return filing on holidays for election candidates

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has taken special measures to help prospective candidates fulfill mandatory tax-related requirements for the upcoming national elections. Online tax return filing will be available even on holidays.

The e-Tax Management Unit has set up a helpdesk to provide guidance, technical support, and submission assistance. The helpdesk will operate on 26 December (2 PM – 5 PM) and 27 December (9 AM – 5 PM), continuing on 28–29 December during regular working hours.

The initiative aims to ensure
