According to Bollywood box office tracking site Sacnilk, the film earned ₹337.4 crore in its first week. On the ninth day of the second week, the earnings were ₹22.25 crore, and on the tenth day, there was a 75.28% increase, with ₹39 crore in earnings. Its total domestic collection has now reached ₹437.65 crore, surpassing films like Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire (₹406.45 crore), Baahubali: The Beginning (₹420 crore), Sye Raa (₹409 crore), and Jailer (₹407 crore).

Kantara: Chapter 1 is a prequel to the original Kantara film. Set against a backdrop of history, mythology, and folk beliefs, this period action drama once again showcases Rishab Shetty’s skills as both a director and actor.

Following its release, the film has sparked immense excitement and praise among audiences, further solidifying its success at the box office.
