HSC Exams May Start from June 7, Preliminary Decision by Board

This year’s HSC and equivalent exams are preliminarily scheduled to begin on June 7, according to the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee. The matter now awaits final approval.

The issue was discussed in a meeting of board chairpersons at the Ministry of Education’s Secondary and Higher Education Division on Sunday. Several sources at the meeting indicated the need to determine a possible date as the exams are approaching.

A board chairman, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that June 7 was selected as a tentative date considering exam preparations and overall circumstances. However, this is not yet final. Formal notification will be issued after approval from the Education Minister and Primary and Mass Education Minister.

Students and parents are expected to gain clarity with this preliminary decision, though final confirmation will require waiting for the official announcement.
