HSC 2025 Results Likely to Be Announced by Mid-October

The exact date for the release of this year’s HSC and equivalent examination results has not yet been determined. The result announcement will be scheduled once the answer scripts are fully reviewed. This year, the time allotted for teachers to check the answer scripts has also been increased.

Professor Dr. Khandokar Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman of the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and Coordinator of the Inter-Education Board Subcommittee, said on Saturday, September 13, that the script evaluation process is currently ongoing. Once all activities are completed, the results will be published.

According to Professor S.M. Kamal Uddin Haider, Controller of Examinations at the Dhaka Board, the results could be announced by mid-October. He said, “This year, the time for teachers to check answer scripts has been extended. Previously, teachers had 15 days, but now they are getting up to 20 days for certain subjects. We hope to publish the results within 60 days.”

The HSC and equivalent exams of 2025 began on June 26. A total of 1,251,111 students participated under 11 education boards, including 618,015 male students and 633,096 female students. Exams were conducted across 2,797 centers nationwide. Compared to 2024, the number of examinees has decreased by 81,882 this year.
