U.S.-based tech giants Google and Apple have issued a warning to visa-holding employees, advising against international travel due to unusually long and uncertain visa processing times.

Immigration law firms working with these companies informed employees that those requiring new visa stamps for reentry into the U.S. may face significant delays.

Recent reports indicate hundreds of Indian professionals had their U.S. visa appointments canceled or postponed due to new verification requirements. Similar warnings were issued in September 2025. The delays have raised concerns among tech sector employees relying on H-1B visas.
