Google Expands New Agreement with Europe’s Fast-Growing Startup Lovable

Stockholm-based fast-growing “vibe-coding” startup Lovable has expanded its multi-year collaboration with Google. The announcement was made on Wednesday, indicating a major expansion in technology integration and cloud usage between the two parties.

The financial details of the agreement were not disclosed. However, according to information provided to tech news outlet TechCrunch, Lovable’s usage of Google Cloud is expected to increase nearly fivefold under the new arrangement. This also includes expanded use of artificial intelligence (AI) services.

As part of the agreement, Lovable will now gain broader access not only to Amazon’s competing cloud services but also to Google’s Gemini models and Anthropic’s Claude AI models. It is reported that Claude models will be increasingly used, particularly for coding-related tasks.

Google announced in April this year a $10 billion investment in Anthropic, with an additional potential investment of $30 billion if specific targets are met. This new partnership is expected to support the achievement of those targets.

Lovable is known as one of Europe’s fastest-growing startups. The company stated that its annual revenue surpassed $400 million in February, and within just one month, it added another $100 million in revenue. With only 146 employees, the company claims that more than half of the world’s top 500 companies are using its products.

Under the new agreement, Lovable’s AI agents will be integrated into Google Cloud’s Enterprise Marketplace and the Gemini Enterprise Agent Gallery, making it easier for large corporate clients to adopt and bill their services.

In addition, collaboration will be strengthened with Google-owned cybersecurity firm Wiz to enhance software security. This will enable real-time detection and resolution of code vulnerabilities and security risks.

Analysts believe that this partnership could play a significant role in strengthening Google’s position in AI-based services and the enterprise market. As part of its broader large-scale technology investment strategy, such collaborations may also create new revenue streams for Google.
