The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has forecast that Bangladesh’s economy may grow by 4% in the 2025–26 fiscal year.

It said growth could recover due to increased consumption and investment.

In its report “Asian Development Outlook,” ADB said growth may rise further to 4.7% in 2026–27.

It noted inflation may remain near 9% this year, slightly easing next year.

ADB warned that geopolitical tensions and supply chain disruptions could pose risks.

Remittance stability, agriculture recovery, and industrial growth are expected to support the economy.
