The Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) center has begun to see an increased presence of students for the 2025–26 academic year undergraduate first-year admission tests for public universities under the agricultural cluster. On Saturday (January 3), ahead of the afternoon exam, students from various districts entered the campus in large numbers.
Volunteers were present at the main gate and other entrances of BAU campus to guide students to their respective examination centers. Drinking water and essential information services were provided to students and guardians. Law enforcement officers were stationed to maintain order in the area.
The admission test will take place from 2 PM to 3 PM in MCQ format. This year, 88,227 students applied for 3,701 seats across nine agricultural cluster universities, averaging roughly 24 candidates per seat, making the competition more intense.
The universities under the agricultural cluster include Bangladesh Agricultural University, Gopalganj Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Sylhet Agricultural University, Khulna Agricultural University, Habiganj Agricultural University, and Kurigram Agricultural University.
The campus atmosphere is both festive and tense, with students experiencing a mix of excitement and pressure. Authorities are hopeful that the exams will be conducted peacefully and smoothly.
