West Indies lost the series to Pakistan, missing victory in the final over

In the final T20 match of the series held in Florida, West Indies were defeated by Pakistan by 13 runs. Pakistan secured the series win with a 2-1 margin.

In the last over, West Indies needed 25 runs, but hope faded after Hasan Ali bowled two dot balls and took a catch. Sherfane Rutherford scored 51 runs but couldn’t hit a boundary in the final over. Gurakesh Moti hit a four and a six to slightly accelerate the run rate but failed to secure the win.

Left-arm spinner Sufiyan Mukim and Haris Rauf played crucial roles in Pakistan’s victory. Mukim took 1 wicket for 20 runs in 4 overs, troubling West Indies’ middle order. Haris Rauf gave only 13 runs in the 19th over.

Pakistan won the toss and batted first, with Sahibzada Farhan and Saif Ayub putting on a strong opening partnership of 136 runs. Farhan scored 74 off 53 balls and Saif 66 off 49 balls. Hasan Nawaz and Khushdil Shah added 15 and 11 runs respectively toward the end.
