International Desk | PNN:
U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that his administration is moving toward a solution for the Gaza crisis that could be positive for everyone. Earlier, he issued a “final warning” to the Palestinian group Hamas to end the Gaza war.

Speaking to reporters in Washington after his visit to New York on Sunday, Trump said, “This is a terrible problem. But we want to solve it—for the Middle East, for Israel, for everyone. You will hear about it very soon.” He added that the main focus of his administration is now the release of captive Israeli citizens and ending the war.

Earlier the same day, Trump claimed that Israel had accepted his proposed peace terms. He warned that Hamas must also comply with these terms, stating, “I have told Hamas—if you reject the proposal, you will face severe consequences. This is my final warning, there is no other chance.”

On his social media platform Truth Social, Trump wrote: “Everyone wants the prisoners returned home, everyone wants the war to end. Israel has agreed to my terms, now it is Hamas’ turn.”

It is noteworthy that U.S. officials have repeatedly stated that Israel has agreed to a ceasefire proposal in the nearly 23-month-long Gaza conflict. However, in practice, Israeli leaders have continued to announce escalations in military operations, which international human rights organizations have described as acts of genocide.
