Hollywood star Selena Gomez and music producer Benny Blanco married in a grand ceremony in 2025. Since then, public interest in their married life has remained high. Recently, Selena spoke openly about family planning during a podcast appearance.

On the podcast “Friends Keep Secrets,” Selena joined a discussion with her husband Benny Blanco and his friend Lil Dicky. During the conversation about the number of children, Selena revealed that she wants to become a mother of four children.

Lil Dicky mentioned that he and his wife have differing opinions on the number of children—he wants a maximum of two, while his wife wants three. Laughing, Selena said her dream is even bigger—she wants four children.

Selena also shared the inspiration behind this desire. She said a family dinner scene from the movie The Family Stone, focusing on the character played by Diane Keaton, left a deep impression on her. Watching the emotional family moments, she dreamed of experiencing similar scenes in her own life, wishing to have a full family gathered around a dinner table as she grows older.

However, she also acknowledged the reality, saying that the future is not fully in anyone’s control. Whether she has one child or more, ultimately, having a happy family is most important to her.

Benny Blanco has also previously expressed his interest in becoming a father in several interviews. He mentioned that he enjoys spending time as an uncle.

Selena and Benny were married on September 27. Their wedding ceremony was attended by Selena’s close friend Taylor Swift, actor Paul Rudd, and co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin from the series Only Murders in the Building. Other attendees included Paris Hilton, Ed Sheeran, Ashley Park, and David Henrie from Wizards of Waverly Place.
