Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani warned that Israel’s repeated violations of the Gaza ceasefire risk undermining the entire peace agreement. He emphasized that humanitarian aid must be allowed in without conditions and that the second phase of the ceasefire should start immediately.

Despite the ceasefire being in effect since 10 October, Israel has violated it at least 738 times, resulting in at least 394 Palestinian deaths and over a thousand injuries. Discussions focused on pressuring Israel to stop violations, deploying an international stability force, and ensuring humanitarian assistance.

The recent Israeli airstrike killed Hamas senior commander Raed Saad. U.S. President Donald Trump stated his administration is reviewing whether the attack violated the ceasefire. Harsh winter conditions have worsened the humanitarian situation, affecting tens of thousands of children.
