Hollywood star and Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe has long been seen by audiences for his commanding on-screen presence. However, recently another side of him has emerged as a devoted collector of luxury watches. Fans have noticed a TikTok account where he regularly showcases various watches from his personal collection.
The account, named ‘igp366’, appears to reference his own brand ‘Indoor Garden Party’. The account bio states that he will only discuss watches and related brands, without celebrity promotion. Already, the account has gained several tens of thousands of followers.
In his videos, Crowe mentioned that showing his entire collection would take a long time. For now, he highlighted a few watches that he wears regularly. His collection includes famous brands like Rolex, Tudor, and Omega, with prices ranging from a few thousand to several tens of thousands of dollars.
Notably, his Rolex Daytona model, which he wore at Wimbledon last July, has attracted particular attention. He also showcased a special edition Omega Seamaster Diver 300M, made to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the James Bond character. The blue dial and design evoke memories of the 1995 film GoldenEye. Crowe explained that his interest in these watches is driven more by personal preference and mental inspiration than by his Bond fandom.
Significantly, he won the Oscar for Best Actor for his role as Maximus in the 2001 film Gladiator. In his recent video background, the Oscar statuette can be seen unobtrusively, sparking curiosity among fans.
Crowe’s fascination with watches is not new. Years ago, he auctioned personal memorabilia and collections, raising a significant amount, including multiple luxury watches. According to Crowe, the childhood experience of not receiving his desired watch inspired him to build this collection later in life.
From a cinematic hero to a real-life watch enthusiast, Russell Crowe’s unique identity has now sparked widespread discussion on social media.
