Nvidia Sets Record in AI Investments, Participates in Over 50 Startups in One Year

Leveraging the artificial intelligence revolution, Nvidia has significantly boosted its business, revenue, and cash reserves, far surpassing past levels. Since the rise in popularity of ChatGPT and other generative AI services, the company has heavily invested in AI startups.

According to PitchBook data, by 2025, Nvidia has already participated in 50 venture capital deals, surpassing the 2024 total of just over 25 deals. The company’s corporate venture fund, NVentures, has taken part in 21 deals during this period, compared to just one deal in 2022.

Nvidia’s goal is to expand the AI ecosystem by supporting “game-changer and market-maker” startups. The company has made multiple billion-dollar investments in well-known startups such as OpenAI, XAI, Mistral AI, Reflection AI, Thinking Machines Lab, Inflexion, Enscale, Wave, Figure AI, and Scale AI. Additionally, Nvidia has participated in over 100 AI and technology startups, including Kohyar, Lambda, Poolside, CoreWiv, Pharmas Technologies, Sakana AI, Neuro, Imbu, Wabi, and others.

Experts say that Nvidia’s investment strategy is not only strengthening the company’s economic power but also playing a crucial role in advancing the global AI ecosystem. Rapid and large-scale investments in AI-based startups are further solidifying Nvidia’s dominance.

Alongside its investments, Nvidia is supporting the growth and operations of startups through its own GPUs and technology supply, significantly amplifying its influence in the technology industry.
