At the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media, and Telecom conference in San Francisco, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said that recent investments in OpenAI and Anthropic are likely their last. He explained that as these companies prepare for public offerings, direct investment opportunities will essentially close.
Huang’s comments come amid skyrocketing demand for NVIDIA chips in AI. Both OpenAI and Anthropic rely on NVIDIA’s high-performance processors for their AI models, suggesting that the company profits significantly from supplying technology rather than direct equity investment.
