 International Desk | PNN:
Russian forces launched attacks on Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, using multiple high-powered guided bombs and drones. Seven people were injured at the city’s main hospital, and 50 patients were evacuated for safety. This information was confirmed by Oleh Syniubov, governor of Kharkiv.

In addition to the Kharkiv attack, Russian forces claimed to have captured the village of Balahany in Donetsk region. In response, the Ukrainian government is taking necessary measures to address the national security crisis caused by these attacks.

Meanwhile, a United Nations aid convoy was struck by Russian forces near Bilozerska in the Kherson region. No casualties were reported, but four UN trucks were damaged, with two of them destroyed by fire.

Amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, the situation in Gaza has also worsened, with Russian attacks on Ukraine causing disruptions in the energy supply system. Several regions in Ukraine have experienced power outages, severely affecting the daily lives of citizens.

Furthermore, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko has discussed the situation with U.S. officials, emphasizing the importance of addressing Russian attacks and the energy crisis. These discussions are expected to play a key role in strengthening Ukraine’s security measures and increasing foreign aid.

Amid this unstable situation, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revoked the citizenship of Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov, citing allegations of holding Russian citizenship, which violates Ukrainian law. The country’s state security service is working on this matter, and Zelensky has announced that further measures will be taken against Russian agents.

At the international level, discussions about Ukraine’s situation continue, heightening tensions between Russia and NATO. In this crisis, the need for international support and cooperation for Ukraine is becoming increasingly evident.
