Middle East Tensions Rise Following Israeli Airstrikes in Iran: Venezuela Backs Tehran

PNN International Desk – The recent Israeli airstrikes on Iran have sparked a wave of renewed tension across the Middle East. In a strong show of solidarity, several nations including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and now Venezuela have publicly stood by Iran.

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, in a strongly worded statement, condemned the Israeli aggression and referred to it as “neo-Nazi Zionism.” According to a report by Al Jazeera, President Maduro labeled the strikes a blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.

“This is a criminal military aggression,” said Maduro. “The world must rise against it—now.”

He further stated: “Say no to war, no to fascism, no to neo-Nazi Zionism. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is the Hitler of the 21st century. France, Germany, the UK, and the United States are complicit in supporting this modern-day Hitler. They too are responsible.”

Maduro also demanded justice for what he termed as the Israeli Prime Minister's crimes against “the noble and peace-loving Iranian people.”

This statement follows similar condemnations from Saudi Arabia and Turkey on Friday, June 13, who also denounced the Israeli attacks on Iran in strong terms.
