Although the United States has taken a somewhat more flexible stance on possible peace agreements and ceasefire discussions with Iran, reports from various international media outlets suggest that political circles in Israel are once again increasing efforts and discussions regarding the possibility of war. This situation has created renewed tensions in the Middle East.

According to the report, the United States has recently stepped back somewhat from its earlier threats of military action if progress is not made in peace talks with Iran. However, discussions are reportedly ongoing within Israel’s political and security circles about launching new operations against Iran.

Israeli right-wing television Channel 14 presenter Shimon Riklin recently commented on possible attack plans and targets in a talk show about Iran, which later drew criticism from members of the Israeli parliament. After the controversy, he claimed that his remarks were speculative.

Israeli media reports suggest that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has held meetings with the security cabinet to discuss renewed military operations against Iran. However, analysts believe that without U.S. approval, it would be difficult for Israel to restart a large-scale war.

Meanwhile, the lack of progress in Iran–U.S. negotiations has further increased regional tensions. In particular, the situation around the strategic Strait of Hormuz is reportedly affecting the global energy market.

International analysts say that due to Iran’s military capabilities and potential retaliatory actions, the United States is taking a cautious approach to avoid being drawn into a major conflict again. Iran, on the other hand, is also reportedly strengthening its regional countermeasures.

Israel’s internal political situation has further complicated the tensions. Opposition parties are criticizing Prime Minister Netanyahu’s policies, saying that his position on Iran may put the country at long-term security risk.

According to analysts, the Iran issue may play a key role in Netanyahu’s political strategy ahead of upcoming elections. However, if a new war begins, it could create even greater instability in the Middle East.

Overall, experts believe that the combination of the United States’ diplomatic stance, Israel’s political pressure, and Iran’s counter-strategies may lead to a new phase of escalation in the Middle East.
