The Health Ministry of Gaza has reported the deaths of six more Palestinians due to forced starvation and malnutrition in the besieged Gaza Strip, raising the total number of such deaths to 175, including 93 children.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, at least 22 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza. Medical sources confirmed that 16 of the deceased were ordinary civilians who had come to collect food aid.
In a strong condemnation, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesperson for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, criticized the march and provocative stance led by Israeli far-right Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
He stated, “This has crossed all red lines. The international community, especially the US administration, must immediately intervene—stop the crimes and provocations by extremist settlers, end the ongoing war in Gaza, and ensure urgent humanitarian aid delivery.”
Notably, from Saturday night to early Sunday morning, Ben-Gvir led a march in East Jerusalem and later called on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) for full Israeli control over Gaza and the declaration of Israeli sovereignty there.
Amid this tense situation, pressure is mounting on the international community to urgently act to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe.
