Cocktail Explosion in Front of NCP Office in Banglamotor, Locals in Panic

A cocktail explosion occurred in front of the central office of the National Citizens’ Party (NCP) in Banglamotor, Dhaka. Eyewitnesses reported that the incident took place around midnight on Friday, August 15.

According to local sources, three individuals on a motorcycle suddenly threw a cocktail in front of the office and quickly fled the scene. The explosion caused panic in the surrounding area, and some nearby shops suffered minor damage.

Police arrived at the scene immediately after the incident and have launched an investigation. So far, the identities and motives of the attackers remain unknown. Authorities stated that the investigation is ongoing, based on CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts.

Meanwhile, locals have demanded stronger security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
