China’s Ambassador Holds Courtesy Meeting with Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Amir

China’s Ambassador to Bangladesh, Yao Wen, paid a courtesy visit to Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. The meeting was held today, Tuesday, at the office of the Jamaat Amir in Bashundhara.

Present at the meeting were Zhang Jing, Director of the Political Section of the Chinese Embassy, Jamaat Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Parwar, Assistant Secretary General, Head of the Central Propaganda and Media Department Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubayer, and the Jamaat Amir’s Foreign Affairs Advisor Professor Dr. Mahmudul Hasan.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in open discussions on matters of mutual interest between the two countries. They also expressed hope that in the coming days, economic, political, commercial, and diplomatic relations will be further strengthened, and the trajectory of bilateral development and progress will become more solid.
