The Pakistan cricket team is scheduled to tour Bangladesh in March–April next year for a full bilateral series. However, due to a clash with the Pakistan Super League (PSL) schedule, the series will not be played continuously and will instead take place in two phases.

The series will include two Test matches as part of the World Test Championship, along with three ODIs and three T20Is. While the total number of matches remains unchanged, the schedule will be adjusted.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently announced the PSL schedule, running from March 26 to May 3. Since the full-strength Pakistan team cannot tour Bangladesh during this period, PCB proposed holding the series before and after the PSL.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials have viewed this two-phase proposal positively, and discussions are ongoing. BCB Director Nazmul Abedin Fahim said at a press conference that the series will be split into two segments to accommodate the PSL, ensuring both teams’ participation and allowing fans to enjoy all matches.
