Staff Report, PNN
After a 10-month break, Babar Azam returned to Pakistan’s T20 team and showed some form. However, he recently set an unfortunate record.

On Thursday, in the final T20 of a tri-series against Sri Lanka, Babar faced only two balls and was dismissed LBW by Dushmantha Chameera. This made him the Pakistani batsman with the most ducks in international T20 cricket, reaching 10. Previously, Saeem Ayub and Umar Akmal jointly held this record.

Statistics show Babar batted in 128 innings over 135 matches, averaging one duck every 12.8 innings. Saeem Ayub had 10 ducks in 53 innings, and Umar Akmal in 79 innings. Other notable players include Shahid Afridi with 8 ducks and Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Hafeez, and Mohammad Nawaz with 7 each.

Despite this record, Babar remains a trusted player for Pakistan, and fans expect him to return to form soon.
