Trump thanked Iran for what he described as "early notice" of the attack

Washington, D.C., June 24 (PNN): U.S. President Donald J. Trump has issued a statement declaring that Iran’s response to the alleged obliteration of its nuclear facilities was "very weak" and has been "very effectively countered" by U.S. defense systems. The remarks, delivered in a public statement and signed under his name, come amid rising tensions in the Middle East following unconfirmed reports of U.S. or Israeli strikes on key Iranian military and nuclear infrastructure.

According to Trump, Iran fired a total of 14 missiles, of which 13 were intercepted. He claimed that the only missile allowed to pass was heading in a "nonthreatening direction." “I am pleased to report that No Americans were harmed, and hardly any damage was done,” he emphasized.

Trump framed the event as a "contained" reaction from Tehran. “Most importantly, they’ve gotten it all out of their ‘system,’ and there will, hopefully, be no further HATE,” he added.

In a surprisingly conciliatory tone, Trump thanked Iran for what he described as "early notice" of the attack, which he credited for helping to avoid any casualties. He also called for de-escalation in the region, stating, “Perhaps Iran can now proceed to Peace and Harmony in the Region, and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same.”
