Popular Hollywood actor Tom Holland, renowned for his role as Spider-Man, recently revealed that he has been quietly struggling with hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and dyslexia for many years.
According to reports from international media outlets BBC and IGN, Holland candidly shared in an interview that his condition sometimes made him fearful while working on new roles. However, he combats these challenges through creativity, embracing the playful spirit of his inner child to fully inhabit his characters.
Holland stated, “As a young person or an adult, you should engage in activities that force you to be creative and think beyond your mental limits. The more we do such work, the better we become.”
He was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of seven, which primarily affects his reading and spelling skills. In 2023, during J. Sheth’s On Purpose podcast, he mentioned that spelling was one of his greatest challenges.
This recent revelation highlights the resilience of a silent fighter whose strong mindset underpins his exceptional performance on screen.
