Singer Jahed Parvez Pabel embarks on a new chapter in life

Four years ago, young singer Jahed Parvez Pabel gained attention with his popular song “Buk Chinchin”, performed in both male and female versions. After the song went viral on social media, he solidified his presence among listeners with a series of solo and duet songs.

Now, Pabel has taken a new step in his personal life. On Friday, he formally got married in a family ceremony in Chittagong. The reception was held at a convention center in the city’s port area. His wife’s name is Tanzima Islam, who is studying at a private college in Chittagong.

Regarding his marriage, Pabel said that the relationship was initiated and finalized with family consent. After discussions and mutual understanding, both families agreed on everything. Pabel expressed his joy and mental peace at having Tanzima as his life partner.

The marriage contract (aqd) was conducted in the presence of close relatives on Friday, followed by a formal wedding ceremony in the evening.

Alongside his personal life, Pabel continues his music career. He has multiple new songs ready for release and plans to sing for several drama soundtracks in the near future.

It is notable that Pabel’s family has no prior background in music. His interest in music began in the tenth grade after listening to Habib Wahid’s songs, which inspired him to dream of becoming a singer. Unlike spending time with friends or in sports, he devoted himself to regular music practice.

About 14 years ago, he moved to Dhaka to pursue a professional music career. After completing his bachelor’s degree at a private university, he has fully devoted the past four years to music. He credits his mother and elder brother for the most significant support throughout his journey.

Although he began with a reinterpretation of the popular film song “Buk Chinchin”, he has now established his own identity in the music industry, according to his listeners.
