Shooting at Bollywood Star Disha Patani’s House in Bareilly: Attackers Flee

Early Friday morning, gunfire was reported at the home of Bollywood actress Disha Patani in the Civil Lines area of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India. Police said two attackers on a motorcycle fired two rounds of bullets and then fled the scene. Fortunately, no one was injured.

At the time of the incident, Disha’s family was at home, including her sister Khushboo Patani (a former army officer), father Jagdish Patani (retired DSP), and mother Padma Patani. Disha herself was in Mumbai at the time. Police recovered two empty cartridges from the scene and have increased security around the house.

Bareilly SSP Anurag Arya stated that the incident occurred around 4:30 AM. CCTV footage from the surrounding area is being examined, and five special teams have been formed to track down the attackers.

The attack has been claimed by the Rohit Godara–Goldy Brar gang, which posted that Disha and her sister had allegedly disrespected spiritual gurus. The post included a threat: “This is just a trailer; next time anyone disrespects religion, no one will be spared.”

The gang further stated that they are ready to take action at any level to protect religion and society. Police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing and multiple operations are underway to apprehend the attackers. Disha Patani has not yet commented on the incident.
