Safa Kabir’s New Drama Hiatus: Actress Awaits a Good Story

Popular TV drama actress Safa Kabir has worked not only in television dramas but also in OTT content, although her presence on OTT platforms is comparatively limited. Currently, she is busier on TV, but there hasn’t been much new drama or work for her lately.

Safa Kabir recently completed shooting a new drama at various locations in Barisal. However, she has not been able to participate in any new projects since then. Regarding this, she said, “I receive many work proposals, but I don’t find originality in the stories. They are all the same kind of trendy plots. I don’t want to work in these, so the number of projects is decreasing. I want to take a break and do something meaningful. My recent dramas, ‘Sandhi’ and ‘Ken Ei Songota,’ received a lot of praise, but such stories are no longer coming. So, I’m currently on a break, waiting for a good story.”

Meanwhile, many of her contemporaries have already started working in films, but Safa has not yet made her mark on the big screen. On this, she said, “I am fully ready to work in films now. However, I am just waiting for a good story—preferably a single, focused story where I can present myself in a new way, not a multi-cast project.”

Safa’s comments have piqued the curiosity of her fans and viewers, who are eagerly awaiting her next project.
