KGF-famous actor Dinesh Mangalo passes away

Popular Kannada film actor Dinesh Mangalo has passed away. He died in the early hours of Monday, August 25, at the age of 55.

According to Indian media reports, he recently suffered a stroke while shooting for the film Kantara: Chapter 1. After receiving initial treatment at a private hospital in Bengaluru, he felt somewhat better. However, about a week later, he had to be hospitalized again due to a brain hemorrhage, where he eventually passed away.

Mangalo’s body will be brought to his home in Udupi on the evening of August 25. The public will have the opportunity to pay their respects from 8:00 AM on August 26. His final rites will be held at the Sumanahalli crematorium.

He is survived by two children. His death has cast a shadow of mourning over the Kannada film industry.

Notable films in which Dinesh Mangalo acted include Rana Vikrama, Ambari, Savari, Inti Ninna Beti, Tughlaq, Bettada Jeeva, Surya Kanti, and Kirik Party. However, he gained the most recognition for his role as Bomber Don Shetty in KGF Chapter 1.
