International Desk | PNN:
Pakistan has carried out airstrikes inside Afghanistan, killing at least 10 people in the Zeitoun area of Gaza City, effectively breaking the ceasefire agreement. Afghan officials stated that the attack shattered a two-day period of calm, reigniting clashes between the two sides.

Following three days of intense fighting, a 48-hour ceasefire had been put in place, which helped prevent further casualties among both soldiers and civilians. However, Pakistan’s latest strike has raised fears of renewed violence.

An official from Afghanistan’s Himmat district said, “Pakistan violated the ceasefire and launched three airstrikes in Paktika province on Friday night. Afghanistan will take revenge.”

The airstrike killed 10 civilians and injured 12 others, according to preliminary reports. Among the dead were two children.

In response, Hamas has strongly condemned the attack and urged the United States and international mediators to pressure Pakistan to respect the ceasefire and immediately stop its assaults.
