International Desk | PNN:
Even after two years, deadly Israeli attacks continue in Gaza. Representatives from Israel, Hamas, and mediators are currently meeting in Egypt to discuss a plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump to end the conflict.

Meanwhile, Gaza’s Ministry of Health has labeled Israeli actions as “health genocide,” reporting that 1,701 healthcare workers have been killed in the two-year war. Hamas condemned the situation as “shameful international silence and unprecedented Arab failure.”

During the ceasefire discussions, Israeli military forces and settlers carried out multiple new operations in the occupied West Bank:

  1. Khirbet Samra: According to WAFA News Agency, Israeli settlers wreaked havoc in the northern Jordan Valley village of Khirbet Samra, causing fear among local residents, especially women and children.

  2. Balqa Village: Early Tuesday, Israeli forces raided Balqa Bedouin village north of Jericho, searching homes and conducting field interrogations and physical abuse of residents.

  3. Ramallah and Al-Bireh: Israeli forces conducted operations in various areas, detaining several Palestinians. Some shops were closed, and movement restrictions were imposed in multiple areas.

According to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society, at least 35 Palestinians were arrested from the West Bank since Monday evening.

Al Jazeera reported that despite ceasefire talks in Egypt, Israeli attacks in Gaza early Tuesday morning killed at least eight Palestinians.

Gaza’s Ministry of Health highlighted the dire state of the healthcare system: over the two-year war, 67,173 people have been killed, including 20,179 children. 169,780 people have been injured.

Due to Israel-forced famine, 460 people died, including 154 children. Over 51,100 children under five suffer from severe malnutrition. Of 38 hospitals, 25 are now non-functional, and the remaining ones are partially operational. Among 157 primary healthcare centers, 103 have been destroyed.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza to end the two-year war. The agency also demanded the release of all Palestinian prisoners held by Israel as well as Israeli captives.
