Tehran – The ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran has escalated significantly since last Friday, with heavy missile and drone exchanges causing widespread destruction and casualties.
According to CNN, citing the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, over 400 missiles have been launched at Israel by Iran so far, alongside hundreds of armed drones dispatched from Tehran targeting Israeli territory.
The Prime Minister’s Office reported that the Iranian strikes have killed at least 24 people and injured more than 800 others across various parts of Israel. Several cities have experienced severe damage and infrastructure destruction.
The Israeli Ministry of Interior stated that in efforts to ensure civilian safety, approximately 3,800 residents have been evacuated from their homes and relocated to secure shelters. Authorities are on high alert, and additional security measures have been implemented nationwide.
Analysts warn that the intensifying confrontation poses a grave threat to regional stability in the Middle East. The international community has called for immediate de-escalation and restoration of order.
However, no signs of a truce have emerged so far, with both nations continuing retaliatory strikes, pushing the region closer to a broader conflict.
