Brazil national football team is continuing its training camp in New Jersey, USA, as part of preparation for the upcoming World Cup. On Wednesday (June 3), the team held its second training session, which was attended by around 200 spectators, including Brazilian supporters and local football fans.
According to FIFA guidelines, open training sessions are being arranged to increase interaction between participating teams and local audiences. The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) organized the session as part of this initiative.
During training, coaching staff reviewed fitness and tactical preparations as well as plans for upcoming friendly matches. Head coach Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly considering several changes to the starting lineup for the friendly match against Egypt.
Changes are expected in the defense line, with Marquinhos and Gabriel Magalhães likely to return to the starting eleven after resting in the previous match due to the Champions League final.
A change is also possible at the left-back position, where Douglas Santos may replace Alex Sandro.
In midfield and attack, Lucas Paquetá and Igor Thiago are reportedly in contention for a starting role after their performances against Panama. If selected, Matheus Cunha and Luis Henrique may be dropped to the bench.
However, major tactical changes are not expected, as Ancelotti is still believed to rely on a 4-2-4 formation, where Paquetá can move centrally from the right side to increase attacking fluidity.
This preparation phase has already sparked significant discussion among fans ahead of the World Cup
