In the Stepnohirsk area of Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, three people were killed in a Russian military attack, according to local military administration reports shared via Telegram. Over the past 24 hours, Russia has launched 405 attacks on 10 settlements in the region.

In Chuhuiv district of Kharkiv region, three more people died in a Russian drone strike, the regional prosecutor’s office said. Among the deceased, a drone set fire to a home, while a man and a woman riding a motorcycle also lost their lives. The prosecutor’s office is investigating the motorcycle attack as a possible war crime.

One person was killed in the Russian assault in Kherson region. Additionally, homes, vehicles, and a gas pipeline were damaged, according to Governor Oleksandr Prokudin. On July 27, a person injured in shelling in Beryslav city later died in hospital.

In Donetsk region, two separate attacks in Dobropillia and Kostyantynivka each killed one person, Governor Vadym Filashkin reported.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) claimed that their drone strike damaged five Russian warplanes at the Russian-occupied Saki airbase in Crimea, completely destroying one of them.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said that mercenaries from China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and some African countries are fighting for Russian forces in the northeastern Kharkiv’s Vovchansk area.

The Ukrainian military also acknowledged that their drone strike caused a fire at a fuel depot in Russia’s southern Sochi airport.

The security and humanitarian situation across Ukraine continues to deteriorate amid ongoing hostilities.
