Woman Found Hanging in Shahjahanpur, Children Also Killed

According to preliminary information, the deceased are the wife and two children of Shahadat Hossain, a military personnel based in Mymensingh. Their names are: wife Sadia (23), daughter Sahifa (3), and son Saeed (7 months).

OC Shafiqul Islam Shafik of Shahjahanpur Police Station said family members found the door locked and the mother and children not waking up. Upon opening the door, they discovered the horrific scene and informed the police, who recovered the bodies.

The bodies have been sent to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital morgue for postmortem. Investigations are ongoing to determine whether the mother killed her children before committing suicide or if another crime occurred. Locals described the family as peaceful, and the authorities are actively investigating the cause.
