UGC to Hold Meeting Monday on 2025–26 Cluster Admission Exams

Vice-chancellors from the existing 19 cluster universities and four additional universities will join the meeting. Sources indicate that the new four universities will be invited to join the cluster system this year.

Last year, 19 universities participated in the cluster system, while five opted out. The final list of participating universities for the current session will be confirmed after Monday’s meeting.

The meeting will also set the application start date for admission. The process is expected to begin within the week.

At a previous meeting on October 23, the following exam dates were finalized:

• March 27: Unit ‘C’

• April 3: Unit ‘B’

• April 10: Unit ‘A’

This year, Islamic University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nakib Md. Nasrullah will serve as the Convener of the Cluster Admission Committee, and Patuakhali Science and Technology University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam will serve as Member Secretary.

Dr. Rafiqul Islam confirmed, “The exam dates for all three units are already finalized. On Monday, the UGC meeting with VCs will finalize other details. We hope to begin the application process next week.”

The meeting will give students definitive information about the upcoming admission cycle, helping them better prepare.
