Touhid Afridi’s Love Life and Arrest: Details of Relationship with Care Payel Emerge

New information has come to light regarding the love life and arrest of popular social media and content personality Touhid Afridi. In a conversation with a private television channel, Rahii, a friend of the content creator, revealed that Touhid Afridi had a romantic relationship with Care Payel.

Rahii said, “I had heard long ago that Touhid had a relationship with Payel Apu. That’s all I knew.”

Previously, Touhid Afridi was known to have been close to actress Dighi, which he often dismissed as ‘friendship.’ It is now known that Care Payel was also part of his past romantic relationships. Later, he married a young woman named Risa. In a video that circulated last night, Afridi mentioned during his arrest that his wife is pregnant.

Touhid Afridi got married in November last year, but less than a year into his marriage, he has faced a major crisis in his life.

Muhammad Shamsuddoha Sumon, Additional Public Prosecutor at Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court, stated, “The accused, while live on social media, incited the Awami League, Jubo League, and Chhatra League to commit killings against protesters. He has been arrested based on sufficient evidence.”

Devices recovered from Afridi contained alarming evidence. Forensic examinations will reveal the nature of the conspiracy behind the anti-discrimination student movement, the roles of individuals involved, and the coordination in suppressing the protests.

The incident has caused a stir on social media and, following his arrest, has become the center of widespread public discussion.
