Salman Khan Faces Backlash Over Controversial Comments on Farhana Bhat, Calls for Apology

Salman Khan, the host of the nineteenth season of Bigg Boss, has once again found himself in controversy. Recently, he made a controversial remark about contestant Farhana Bhat during an episode, which sparked widespread criticism among viewers.

The incident occurred when contestant Ashnoor Kaur complained to Salman that Farhana was “spreading negativity.” In response, Salman sarcastically remarked, “When Farhana gets married, what will her family say? Will they say, ‘This girl abuses, fights, breaks plates—she’s exactly the kind of girl we need!’… her life will be ruined because she is not calm and composed.”

Salman’s comment quickly drew sharp criticism. Many took to social media expressing outrage and demanding an apology. One user wrote, “Salman has attacked strong, independent women before—Hina, Gauhar, Rubina, Priyanka—and now he’s targeting Farhana too.”

Another commented, “I’ve never seen someone so openly misogynistic.” Several others criticized Salman’s discriminatory mindset and questioned, “Amal wouldn’t dare say this, but because Farhana is a woman, it’s easy to make such remarks against her!”

Despite the significant backlash, Salman Khan has yet to respond publicly. The controversy continues to dominate social media discussions, with many voicing their disapproval and calling for accountability.
