The Pakistan hockey team arrived in Dhaka late at night on November 9. They will play three matches against Bangladesh on November 13, 14, and 16 at Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium.
Upon arrival, the team imposed strict conditions:
No interaction with media
No journalists allowed in the hotel
No photography, interviews, or media presence during practice sessions at the stadium
The Bangladesh Hockey Federation must comply with these conditions to ensure a smooth visit. It is believed the restrictions are due to concerns about potential questions or disruptions by journalists or YouTubers.
Coach Tahir Jaman is absent; manager Osman Ahmed and Zisan Ashraf are handling team responsibilities. The winner of this three-match series will qualify for the World Cup qualifiers. The matches against Bangladesh are expected to be exciting despite the strict rules and absence of the coach.
