Cocktail explosions at Fisheries and Livestock Department adviser’s business in Mohammadpur

On Monday morning (November 11), two cocktail explosions occurred at the business of Farida Akhter, adviser to the Department of Fisheries and Livestock, on Sir Syed Road, Mohammadpur. No one was injured.

Police reported that around 7:10 AM, two individuals on a motorcycle threw a cocktail inside the establishment and another onto the street. Both exploded, causing panic among nearby people.

OC Kazi Rafique Ahmed of Mohammadpur Police Station told Prothom Alo that multiple police teams are working at the scene and those responsible will face legal action. Security in the area has been tightened, and investigation is underway.
