The upcoming 12th Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) will feature six teams instead of five. Noakhali Express, owned by Desh Travels, will participate for the first time.

The BPL Governing Council has mandated that all teams submit bank guarantees by November 27 to confirm their participation. Existing teams include Rangpur Riders, Dhaka Capitals, Sylhet Titans, Rajshahi Warriors, and Chattogram Royals.

This year, the player draft will be replaced by an auction, scheduled for November 30. The tournament will start on December 19 in Sylhet, with the final on January 23. BPL is expected to deliver excitement and competitive cricket for fans once again.
