BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia Under Intensive Care at Evercare Hospital

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is currently under intensive observation at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka. Doctors report that she has developed breathing difficulties due to infection spreading in her heart and lungs, requiring special care.

Shairul Kabir Khan from the party’s media cell said that on Monday (November 24), Khaleda Zia requested prayers from the public for her speedy recovery. She was admitted on Sunday (November 23) and has been under continuous medical supervision since then.

Khaleda Zia had traveled to London on January 7 for advanced treatment and returned on May 6 after 117 days. She has been receiving regular check-ups at Evercare Hospital since her return.
