NCP Leader Badiul Alam Resigns Over ‘Unethical’ Senior Leadership Behavior

Badiul Alam Babu, Joint Coordinator of the National Citizens Party (NCP) in Motlob South, Chandpur, announced his resignation, citing the unethical and “deplorable” behavior of senior party leaders, which hindered his work for the public.

He posted his resignation on Facebook, stating that he had joined politics to help the helpless, but the senior leaders’ behavior made it impossible to continue. The post has received wide reactions online, with many praising it as a “fair and courageous decision.”

NCP’s Chandpur district Joint Coordinator Farhad Ahmed said that Badiul Alam Babu announced his resignation on Facebook but has not submitted an official resignation letter yet. Badiul Alam explained that he could not achieve his goals while facing threats, abuse, and unethical behavior from senior leaders.

Badiul Alam has long been active in NCP politics, involved in local programs and organizational work. He holds a Master’s in Chemistry and currently works as a teacher. He also serves as General Secretary of the “Safe Roads Now” organization in Motlob South.
