Fire in blanket warehouse on upper floor of building in Chattogram

A fire broke out in a blanket warehouse on the fifth floor of a multi-story building in Kadamtali, Chattogram, on Monday (November 24) afternoon. Seven fire service units are working to extinguish the fire.

Alamgir Hossain, Deputy Director of Agrabad Fire Station, said the fire was reported around 1:30 PM at the Chairman Building in Kadamtali under Kotwali Police Station. “Efforts are underway to control the fire, but the exact cause cannot be determined immediately,” he added.

Locals reported seeing the fire blaze intensely. Fire service officials warned that no one should stay nearby until the fire is fully under control.
